Australian veteran Joe Ingles has reportedly signed a one-year contract with NBA side the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ingles' $US11 million ($A16.4 million) option for 2024-25 was declined by the Orlando Magic last weekend.
His signing with the Timberwolves was reported by broadcaster ESPN on Wednesday (Thursday AEST).
Ingles is currently in Australia as the Boomers warm up for the Paris Olympics. He was named to take on China in Melbourne on Thursday night in the second of a two-match series.
ESPN said the one-year deal with the Timberwolves was worth $US3.3 million ($A4.9 million).
The move would reunite Ingles with former teammates Michael Conley and Rudy Gobert, whom he played multiple seasons with in Utah.
In his first season with the Magic in 2023-24, Ingles, 36, played 68 games and averaged 4.4 points with 2.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
The Jazz signed the 6-foot-9 Australia native as a free agent before the 2014-15 season, and spent his first eight seasons in Salt Lake City, followed by one season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Ingles has career averages of 8.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 704 games (313 starts).
His move caps off a busy trade period for Australians in the NBA, with Josh Green leaving Dallas to join Charlotte, Josh Giddey heading from Oklahoma City to Chicago, and Dyson Daniels going from New Orleans to Orlando.
