In response to questions from Labor's education Josh Willie in the Legislative Council, the government provided statistics which showed another 15 were suspended for the detonation of fireworks.
Another 29 students were suspended for possession of a dangerous weapon or object.
Twenty-seven per cent of students suspended from school last year had some form of disability.
Of the 3748 students suspended in state schools over 2022, 1027 had a disability.
Of the 8873 suspension incidents, 2732 of them involved a student with a disability.
IN OTHER NEWS:
There were 131 students suspended who were in out-of-home care, accounting for 363 of suspension incidents.
