Port Dalrymple student Myra Donnelley smashed five records in the pool on Thursday at the division two regional swimming carnival.

The George Town girl set new marks in the grade 9 100m freestyle (1:05.99), 50m breaststroke (38.66), 50m freestyle (30.26), 50m backstroke (38.21) and senior girls 50m butterfly (34.69).
Prospect grade 7 boys also broke an old 4x50m freestyle record in a time of 2:28.28.

Prospect took out the aggregate school award on 704 points from St Helens on 631.
The school had tied with Port Dalrymple in the senior section on 373 points, just ahead of St Helens on 368.

But Lilydale just prevented Prospect snaring the juniors, with 342 points to 331. The meet was attended by 150 swimmers from five schools.
