The Lions won the toss and batted first, managing 9-97 from their 20 overs.
Opener Rowan Smith made 22 and Alistair Taylor 23 – the pair getting the innings off to a good start with a 46-run partnership at the top of the order.
However, the rest of the Launceston batsmen failed to build on the foundation, with no one making double figures and wickets falling regularly.
Joe Cullen, Jordan French and Shaugha Killalea all picked up two wickets apiece for the Shamrocks.
Westbury had little trouble chasing down the runs on their home ground, finishing at 3-99 off 13.3 overs.
Battle top scored with his knock of 51, off 36 balls, including four boundaries and two sixes.
Dane Anderson made 16 opening the innings and Shaun Leatherbarrow was not out for 10.
Nash Cassidy was the only multiple wicket-taker for the Lions picking up 2-24 from three overs.
