Assistant principal Catherine Scott said that Summerdale hoped to welcome many former school community members at the celebratory cocktail party next Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm.
"Tickets are available from the school office at a cost of $28 a head," she said.
"The school community is also pleased to be launching the inaugural wall of fame, celebrating the successes and accomplishments of past students.
"A number of former students will be inducted.
"The launch will take place at 11am on Thursday, November 7, straight after our open morning, which is open to the public from 9.30 to 11.
"Our biennial school fair will also take place on the Friday from 4.30pm to 8pm."
People interested in being part of any of the centenary events are invited to email the school at Summerdale.Primary @education.tas.gov.au or call 6344 5333 to register.
