The campaign is modelled off the "Big 5" animals in Africa to photograph in the wild, replaced instead with five animals native to Tasmania for tourists to capture.
The five Tasmanian animals chosen for the bucket list are the Tasmanian Devil, quoll, wombat, platypus and wallaby.
Tourism Northern Tasmania chief executive Chris Griffin said Tasmania had regularly experienced a healthy growth in tourists out of central Europe, in particular German-speaking markets.
"The forecasts are looking pretty healthy, even out to the 10-year forecast, that Tasmania would see some sustained levels of growth from those markets," he said.

Mr Griffin said bush plots are prime locations to spy at least half of the species listed on the 'Tasmania 5' list.
"We know that a number of bed and breakfasts operators and larger operators around regional Tasmania also do a bit of spotlighting," he said.
"It's probably one of the best things about Tassie - the accessibility of being able to see these species in their natural habitat rather than having to go to the zoo which is the case in other places."
Tourism Tasmania will partner with German-based tourism company Best of Travel Group, to unveil travel packages and campaigns in Germany until February.
