The match got off to its trademark fiery start as Rhyan Mansell and Alex Saunders traded bumps before the first ball had been bounced, setting the tone for a big match.

Second quarter
Callow wrapped up fellow Tasmania Devils team-mate Oscar Shaw on the boundary line to earn a holding the ball free. Wheeling around on the right, the young star slotted his second.
After three stoppages in the Lauderdale attacking half, Saunders tackled coach Whitford for a holding the ball to put the home side within 13.
Third quarter
In possibly the most dynamic showing of North Launceston's team linkage throughout the game, recruit Liam Davies slapped a loose ball to Fletcher Bennett, booming it down the other end through the chain of Cox-Goodyer and Bart McCulloch before Tom Donnelly's dangerous forward talent came into play, snagging a major.
The ball spilled out to Nicholas Raglione who threaded it through while being tackled for the best goal of the game.
Henry Kerinaiua sneaked home a set shot with a huge slice to put the Southern Bombers within 15 points at three-quarter time.
Fourth quarter
Dakota Bannister took three bounces down the wing and finds Will Edmunds who gained a holding the man free and sealed the game.
