Northern Tasmanian Masters Athletics: We conduct runs/walks for those over 30 years of age every fortnight at various locations around Launceston during the winter months. The next run/walk will be from the Prospect Market Place car park on July 15 commencing at 9.45 am. Distances will be three and 6 kilometre.

Charles George Croft: I am seeking information on Charles Croft who served in the RAN in WWII. He was born in Launceston on February 6, 1906, the son of Charles George and Edith Holman Croft at 12 Quadrant. He died in Launceston on May 18, 1953 at his sisters home a 4 Campbell Street, Newstead. He had seven nephews, Peter, Barry and Graham Croft, Alan and Neil Huxley, John and Ian Joyce.
